Today we will turn your attention on several homemade stain remover recipes which you can use to remove even the most resilient stains from your household features.
Baking soda stain remover: Believe or not but this homemade stain cleaning solution works great. To create it simply mix baking soda and water until the ingredients form a paste. Once ready apply the stain remover on your stained items such as upholstered furnishings, carpet, curtains and even clothes. Let the solution sit for a couple of hours and then wash the stained items.
Ammonia stain remover: Get a bowl and mix in it one part of dishwashing liquid to one part of ammonia and one part of water. When done pour the mixture in a spray bottle and sprinkle the mixture over the stains. Just like with the cleaning remedy from above allow the mixture to sit before you blot it with a soft clean cloth or sponge.
Hydrogen peroxide stain remover: For this cleaning solution you will need one cup of hot water, ½ cup of baking soda and ½ cup of hydrogen peroxide. Mix the ingredient together and apply immediately on the stained areas. You must apply momentarily because the solution loses its potency over time. Once applies allow the cleaning solution to sit for approximately 20 minutes and then rinse. This stain remover is not as powerful as the previous two so you may need to reapply in dependence of the stain type.
Shampoo stain remover: Get a bottle and fill ¾ of it with warm water and ¼ of it with shampoo. Shake the bottle to mix the two ingredients and then with the aid of a soft clean cloth apply the stain remover over the stains. Leave the cleaning solution to sit for 5 to 10 minutes and then rinse with a damp sponge or microfiber cloth.
Pre-wash stain remover: Mix 1/3 part of non-sudsing ammonia to 1/3 part of dish soap and 1/3 part of water. Pour the mixture in a spray bottle and sprinkle over the stains. Allow to sit for no more than five minutes and then immediately wash the cleaning solution with cloth that you have soaked in water.
Rubbing alcohol stain remover: Get an empty spray bottle and pour in it 1/3 of rubbing alcohol, 1/3 of hydrogen peroxide, 1/6 of dishwashing liquid and 1/6 of water. Shuffle the bottle to mix the ingredients. Use the remover before prior of washing the stains.
